I have been working on a documentary for Big Mountain in Stokestown Park Roscommon. Joy. The premise of the Doc was to bring back the direct descendants of the downstairs staff at this beautiful mansion and have them live and work as their ancestors did. For me this was a dream come true, I love researching and then searching for antiques and on this occasion I got paid to do so.

Wonder House premiered at the Jameson Dublin International Film Festival (JDIFF) on February 23rd 2012. The most recent screening was on November 16th 2012 at the Triskel Arts Centre as part of the 57th International Cork Film Festival.
“What exactly is an ‘experimental arts documentary’, I wondered, as the words flashed up on screen at the start, but by the end I had my answer: the film is a meditative, mesmerising journey that combines documentary with a loose fictional narrative, striking imagery and haunting scenes… with it’s unusual subject matter and experimental format, Wonder House should stimulate the imagination of all those interested in science or art.”
